Air Methods Renews Longstanding Partnership with EAGLE III in Green Bay Share On... by Air Methods posted May 08, 2025 Partnership spans nearly two decades of providing lifesaving care GREEN BAY, WI – May 8, 2025 – Air Methods is proud to continue its longstanding partnership with EAGLE III, extending a successful collaboration that has supported the Green Bay region with lifesaving air medical transport services and has helped save countless lives for nearly two decades. EAGLE III originally partnered with Air Methods in 2007 following Air Methods’ acquisition of CJ Systems Aviation Group. Together, the organizations have built a trusted model that combines aviation excellence with clinical expertise. Air Methods provides the pilots, mechanics, and the aircraft, while EAGLE III supplies highly trained medical personnel to deliver critical care in flight. “EAGLE III exemplifies the kind of mission-driven partnership that Air Methods values deeply,” said Tony Raymond, Senior Vice President of Major Accounts at Air Methods. “For nearly 20 years, our teams have worked side by side to ensure the people of Northeast Wisconsin receive fast, reliable, high-quality air medical care when it matters most. We’re honored to continue this legacy together.” The recently renewed contract ensures the continued operation of an EC-135 T2+ helicopter—an advanced, twin-engine aircraft well-suited for specialty transports. The aircraft’s capabilities support neonatal transports and complex cardiac interventions such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, and LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) patient flights. “Our commitment has always been to provide rapid, compassionate, and clinically advanced care to the people of Northeast Wisconsin,” said Shaun Stamnes, Air Medical Coordinator at EAGLE III. “This continued partnership with Air Methods strengthens our ability to respond with the expertise and resources our patients deserve. As we mark 25 years of service, we remain dedicated to advancing critical care transport for the region—every patient, every mission.” This year also marked the 25th anniversary of EAGLE III’s very first helicopter transport, a milestone that underscores the organization’s long-standing commitment to serving the region with speed, safety, and compassion.
