(ENGLEWOOD, Colorado, March 10, 2017) – United Rotorcraft today announced that its Decatur, Texas facility received the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Award of Excellence ‘Diamond Award.’ The company was presented this award in recognition of its maintenance technicians and advanced training.

“We are incredibly proud of our team,” said Mike Slattery, president of United Rotorcraft. “A great deal of training goes into achieving this recognition and it fully supports our organization’s commitment to provide best in class service to our customers.”

United Rotorcraft’s maintenance technicians received training in 2016 through external and factory programs, such as Airbus Helicopters, Bell Helicopter, Turbomeca, and the FAA. In addition, all of the company’s maintenance technicians were further recognized with individual awards through in-house, external, and factory training.

United Rotorcraft provides customization of rotor wing and fixed wing aircraft for domestic and international customers supporting a wide variety of operations including emergency medical services, airborne law enforcement, search and rescue, corporate/VIP transport, and utility missions.
