Air Methods Prehospital EDucation Podcast Ep 1: So We’re Doing This…

by

Our brand new podcast, AMPED (Air Methods Prehospital EDucation) is designed for pre-hospital and in-hospital care providers and sheds light on the unique and challenging clinical scenarios faced by our emergency medical crews. It is a first-of-its-kind platform in which air medical and in-hospital clinicians share their stories from the frontlines and learn from one-another’s unique experiences in providing lifesaving care.

There comes a time in every clinicians career where you have to risk life, limb, and expert advice to save a patient. In the premier episode of the AMPED podcast, the team discusses such a case in which the Air Methods Flight team, sending Trauma Surgeon, and Medical Director were faced with such a decision. Listen to the AMPED podcast team, Flight clinicians, and trauma surgeon dissect HOW they made such a critical decision in this month’s episode: So We’re Doing This.

The podcast is hosted by Joe Hill; Hawnwan “Phil” Moy, MD, Medical Director for ARCH, Air Methods Illinois and Missouri; and John Wilmas, MD, Medical Director for ARCH, Air Methods Illinois and Missouri. Collectively, the three hosts bring decades of experience in emergency medical services and an array of diverse perspectives to the table.

AMPED is available on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, and more. To listen to the episode, visit https://ampedpodcast.libsyn.com/amped. To join the conversation, use the hashtag #AMPEDpod on social media.
