Operating from strategically-located bases, Air Methods provides long-range emergent and scheduled fixed wing air medical transportation throughout the U.S. and beyond. Our bed-to-bed service includes arranging ground transportation and meeting a wide range of

medical needs that might arise during transport. Throughout the entire process, we are committed to delivering the highest level of care and service to our patients, hospitals and emergency services partners.

Our Crew

Our highly-skilled critical care team is comprised of a registered nurse and certified paramedic who practice under the direct guidance of licensed medical directors. Our staff is trained in areas such as burns, cardiac, pediatrics, respiratory and trauma and can also assist with specialty-team transports. All staff are full-time, no on-call/per diem crew members.

Our medically-configured Pilatus PC-12s have a range of 1,742 miles, can cruise at altitudes of up to 30,000 feet and at speeds approaching 300 miles per hour.

Safety

Equipped with the latest in safety technologies, our aircraft are maintained by experienced and dedicated FAA-certified mechanics. Our pilots must meet the highest proficiency requirements and regularly undergo recurrent training.
