Life Flight is the rotor wing air medical transport service of Baptist Medical Center, Wolfson Children’s Hospital, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Orange Park Medical Center, as well as many fire and EMS agencies here on the First Coast. Life Flight has been in service for over 40 years and has completed more than 25,000 accident-free transport missions. LifeFlight operates a BK117-A4, a twin engine helicopter. We were the first aircraft to serve the northeast Florida area and the second program established in the state. We are also the first in the state of Florida to become CAMTS accredited.
