LifeNet medical helicopter celebrates 5 years at Clarinda base

October marked the fifth anniversary of the partnership between Clarinda Regional Health Center and LifeNet/Air Methods located in Clarinda, Iowa. The successful partnership was recently featured in a story on local radio station, KMA News.

Marty Iske is a regional aviation manager for Air Methods and previously served as lead pilot in Clarinda. He tells KMA News he’s proud to have the base in his home area.

"I was here when the base opened up here five years ago,’ said Iske. 'The base has been great. The people that work at the base have been great. The hospital has been great. The community support for the program has been awesome. It’s just a great area to be from."
