Air Methods Manufacturing Department operates in a 90,000 square foot production and completion facility in Englewood, Colorado. Whether a customer's requirement is build-to-print or build-to-spec., our manufacturing team offers a variety of services to ensure our customers needs are met. Our engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance centers are co-located to minimize production paths and allow for rapid component design, manufacture and assembly.

Our production capability includes:

  • CNC Machining Center
    Our CNC Machining Center is capable of manufacturing components as large as 40" x 80" without repositioning. Precision parts can be manufactured that require tight tolerances, down to ±.0005 in.
  • MIL-STD-2219 Welding
  • Sheetmetal fabrication
  • Thermoformed plastics
  • Electrical/Avionics manufacture and assembly
  • Composite and fiberglass manufacture and repair
  • Aircraft interiors fabrication


Our aircraft interiors shop can manufacture and install customized aircraft interiors to specific customer requirements including interior panels, seat contouring and upholstery, cabinetry, soundproofing, and aircraft flooring.

Air Methods maintains a fully qualified vendor base to support fluctuating manufacturing demands and provide special processing that is not cost effective to maintain in-house. These special processes include:

  • Laser cutting
  • Heat treating
  • Shotpeen
  • Anodize and other chemical processes
  • Aircraft Painting
